MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) conducts various examinations for recruitment of some group A, group B, and Group C posts. MPSC State service examination is conducted for Deputy Collector, Tehsildar, Naib tehsildar, BDO, etc. If we talk specifically, there is a significant change in the MPSC group A State service examination. I will tell all of you about the MPSC Rajyaseva paper pattern change.

What is the paper pattern of the MPSC state service exam?

MPSC State service examination is conducted in three stages:

  • prelims 
  • mains 
  • Interview


You have to clear all three stages to get a post from the MPSC exam. You get a post depending on your marks compared to other candidates.



What is the change in MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims Paper Pattern?

Basically, Rajyaseva Prelims contains two papers

  • General Studies Paper 1
  • CSAT paper 2 

Each of the above papers carries 200 marks. Paper 1 with 100 Questions and paper 2 with 80 questions.

From MPSC 2022 advertisement MPSC state service Prelims paper 2 CSAT is Qualifying in nature only.

You have to Qualify the paper 2 with more than 33% marks i.e. 66 Marks out of 200.


Is MPSC CSAT Qualifying now? 

Yes, from MPSC 2022 examination, MPSC CSAT is qualifying only. You have to Qualify the paper 2 with more than 33% marks i.e. 66 Marks out of 200.
