2nd January 2022 but due to some reason it was postponed and the new date was given to us by the MPSC Maharashtra Public Service Commission is 23
january 2022.

Why Was MPSC state service prelims 2021 postponed?
Due to covid pandemic, no advertisements were released by the MPSC
commission. That’s why there were some candidates of whom it was their last
attempt year. Maharashtra Government had announced that they will provide them
an extra attempt for MPSC exams. So after releasing the advertisement for MPSC
state service exam 2021 and after completing the form filling process
government released a rule GR that all the candidates who are age bar will be
given an extra attempt. (Now attempt limit in MPSC exam is cancelled)
So, The application portal was started again for those candidates who were
agebar.
What is the paper pattern of MPSC state service prelims examination?
MPSC state service preliminary examination consist of 2 Question papers.
General studies paper 1 [10AM to 12PM]
CSAT paper 2 [ 03 PM to 05PM ]
Each paper carries 200 marks and is given 2 hours of time
